Ezam: The future belongs to us
KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Keadilan Youth chief Ezam Mohd Nor said the people had given a clear signal that they are prepared to change the Government in the next election.
He said this was evident from the slim margin of victory Barisan Nasional candidates won their seats.
"The signs are clear. The future belongs to us not Barisan Nasional," he said at a thank-the-supporters ceremony.
Ezam claimed even leaders from Asean countries were happy with the opposition's "astounding" performance.
He said the party's target was to focus on the younger generation and university students as they carried the torch of idealism and reforms.
Newly-elected Hulu Klang assemblyman Azmin Ali claimed that even the police in his constituency were throwing dinners in celebration of his victory.
