Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad will name his new cabinet Friday after the November 29 election in which four ministers lost their seats, the official Bernama news agency reported. Mahathir, whose National Front coalition kept its two-thirds parliamentary majority but saw its share of the popular vote fall from 65 to 56 percent, will call on the king Friday morning to present the list for approval.
He will announce it at a press conference at 4:00 p.m. (0800 GMT).
